ET Urban Design Ltd was founded in 2007.
ETUD's experience in both modern and historic conservation projects brings a cross disciplinary dynamic to achieving the right design solution. Since inception, the firms interests have been to plan for the use of land at the human scale. Of the fifteen projects represented on the website and designed by the firm all have the common characteristic of human scale. A principal aim is to create buildings and spaces that make movement through the urban environment interesting and enjoyable seemlessly integrating with larger existing patterns of circulation.
ETUD's Principal consultant, Jason Evans has substantive experience as a Urban Design Manager and Building Conservation Officer in the UK. It is this basis of the historic built environment that shapes my own interests and sympathy for classical and traditional architecture and urbanism.
In addition to membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute and Institute of Historic Building Conservation Jason is also a member of the Georgian Society, the Institute for Classical Art and Architecture and Congress for New Urbanism.
